Maud Goldberg is a contemporary artist born in France in the 1970s who emigrated to Great Britain in the 1990s. There, she studied art and had a pivotal experience when tasked with creating something from a sheet of white A4 paper. This moment marked the beginning of her artistic journey, leading her to explore themes of self-discovery and simplicity through various media, including spatial installations, sculptures, painting, drawing, and more recently, ceramics.
After years of artistic exploration abroad, Goldberg has returned to her native France. In her current work, she intertwines new stories with indigenous materials and moments of life, seeking their alchemy. Her quest for a simple life involves gathering materials and expressing a deep sense of belonging to her place of origin. Through her art, Goldberg continues to explore and share her unique vision, blending her experiences and the essence of her surroundings.
