Dominated by an intricate web of black lines against a light background, the artwork evokes an intense internal struggle. Angular geometric shapes, such as triangles and squares, clash with organic and sinuous lines, creating a visual dynamic that reflects the tension between reason and emotion. The graphite technique, with its precise and blurred strokes, intensifies the sense of fragility and instability. The overlapping planes and fragmented forms suggest the fragility of human perception and the illusory nature of reality. The title "Inner Chaos" perfectly captures the essence of the work, inviting the viewer to a deep reflection on the complexity of the human mind.

Graduated in Architecture and Urbanism from UFPR in 2023, my artistic journey is an organic confluence of worlds. Since childhood, art has pulsed within me, nurtured by the profound influence of my uncles who showed me the power of transforming imagination into matter. One of them, my uncle Jorge Chueri, a painter of landscapes from the São Paulo countryside, introduced me to the universe of drawing and painting. It was with him that I painted one of my first canvases: a portrait of a jaboticaba tree that stood in his backyard. This piece, which I still keep today, was a milestone — its “imperfection,” seen through my child’s eyes, now reveals an early inclination toward abstraction.

My other uncle, a master in creating ephemeral environments, revealed how fabrics, lights, and scaffolding could metamorphose emptiness into celebration. This duality — between representation and atmosphere, the concrete and the ethereal — has always guided me.

During my undergraduate studies, academic and market demands temporarily distanced me from this essence. However, the reunion with art was inevitable. Today, deeply immersed in my master’s program at FAUUSP, where I investigate the intersections between new technologies, artificial intelligence, and Complexity Theory, my artistic practice flourishes. My research expands the boundaries of experimentation, resulting in works that cross art, science, and imagination.

In every stroke and color, I strive to go beyond representation. My art is a continuous investigation into how to visually compose thoughts, memories, feelings, and narratives, evoking singular atmospheres. It is an invitation to dialogue with the sensitive, where the real and the imaginary, the interior and the exterior, feeling and abstraction meet. Each piece is born from this transit, carrying the desire to make visible what is sometimes only felt — and often not understood.
