Peint sur les côtés, prêt à suspendre.
Cette peinture a été réalisée sur un ancien châssis déjà peint qui ne me convenait plus. J'ai tenté une première fois de "peindre par dessus "une oeuvre précédente, et le résultat ne m'a toujours pas convenu. J'ai fini par jeter sur la toile des coups de couteau spontanés en choisissant quelques couleurs très lumineuses, et en laissant cependant l'oeuvre précédente visible par endroits.
Et là, j'ai aimé l'énergie que dégageait la nouvelle oeuvre, et son ambiance joyeuse.

Painted on the sides, ready to hang.
This painting was carried out on an old frame already painted which no longer suited me. I tried for the first time to "paint over" a previous work, and the result still did not suit me. I ended up throwing spontaneous stabs on the canvas by choosing a few very bright colors, and yet leaving the previous work visible in places.
And there, I liked the energy given off by the new work, and its joyful atmosphere.

Lukisan ini dilakukan pada bingkai tua yang sudah dilukis yang tidak lagi cocok untuk saya. Saya mencoba untuk pertama kalinya "mengecat" karya sebelumnya, dan hasilnya tetap tidak cocok untuk saya. Saya akhirnya melemparkan tusukan spontan ke kanvas dengan memilih beberapa warna yang sangat cerah, namun membiarkan karya sebelumnya terlihat di beberapa tempat.

Esta pintura se realizó sobre un marco antiguo ya pintado que ya no me sentaba bien. Intenté por primera vez "pintar sobre" una obra anterior, y el resultado aún no me convenía. Terminé lanzando puñaladas espontáneas en el lienzo al elegir algunos colores muy brillantes y, sin embargo, dejar el trabajo anterior visible en algunos lugares.
Y ahí, me gustó la energía que desprende el nuevo trabajo, y su alegre atmósfera.

Born in 1954.
The artist lives in Ardèche, France where she worked for a long time as a teacher.
In 1977, following health problems, she devotes herself fully to the education of her children and decides to prepare jointly a degree in psychology by correspondence, and a preparation for the degree in plastic arts.
Her work as a painter is the result of the disturbing opposition of the two emotions that lead her to create: on the one hand a contemplative sensitivity, and on the other hand a deep existential anguish linked to biographical and societal elements.
This dichotomy is expressed in her paintings by a multiplication of genres, themes and techniques.
Each work in its singularity is the answer to a moment T of his perpetual back and forth in search of a complicated balance between his doubts and fears and his tendency to wonder, his will to optimism.
A study of flowers testifies to the simple pleasure of observing the infinite aesthetic generosity of his environment, but the next painting drawn in a few energetic brushstrokes betrays his dismay, his helplessness and his distress in front of the suffering of his fellow human beings.

Sometimes, the choice of a humorous title proclaims a well-conceived joie de vivre.
The viewer is at first puzzled by this eclecticism. But the multiplication of anecdotes on the canvas offers him many opportunities to empathize, and he can then join the artist in his exploration of the complexity of the soul.
