Active in the art milieu since 1981.  Born in Berlin (D), lives and works in Bruges (B). Initially started in painting experimenting in search of other materials.  I gained my knowledge in various disciplines within the fine arts.  My work is based on continuous research, which also determines the substantive value of my work.  One way to detach myself from the common techniques, to give shape to my ideas.  Figuration is mostly present in my work, abstracted or stylized.  I also call my work "Non-abstract".  Those who know me better know that I do not stick to one style in my creations.  Sometimes my week is more realistic, sometimes more expressive, sometimes graphic... .  Also, my subjects have little to do with each other, but return over the years.  Many think that as an artist you must have one signature.  I used to stress about it.  Now I have let it go and I create what feels best in front of me.  I like variety, both nauseous process and nauseous result.  Still, there is one recognizable red thread in my work, the colors I use or the recurring figuration.  Already achieved several national exhibitions, selections and awards.
