Marta Lipowska graduated in 2003 from the Faculty of Arts at Marie Curie University in Lublin, where she studied at Professor Jacek Wojciechowski's painting atelier. She uses the technique of oil painting on canvas. Her inspiration comes from nature - her art depicts scenes from everyday life, light and colour playing a predominant role.
Lipowska's work has been shown at numerous exhibitions in Poland and abroad (Italy, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Slovakia) and has been honoured with several prizes and awards. In 2008, she was included in the list of the most promising Polish artists under the age of 35, "Compass of New Art". Her works can be found in private collections all over the world (Poland, United States, United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Czech Republic, Russia, Norway, Ireland, Spain, Japan).
