MAS PROVENÇAL sur CHÂSSIS-DÉCALÉ-MARJINAL D INOX INPI-2024 ...
Un mas provençal est une bâtisse caractéristique de la Provence, une ferme traditionnelle, une maison de maître paysanne. C'est une construction rurale et ancienne bâtie à base de pierres, ce qui lui confère autant de charme. Le terme mas possède des origines provençales.
Un mas est généralement un bâtiment de plain-pied caractérisé par un toit plat ou à faible pente, tandis qu'une bastide possède plusieurs étages et un toit composé de quatre versants distincts. Lié à la vie économique agricole rurale, le mas est parfois rénové et utilisé comme maison de villégiature ou de tourisme de luxe depuis le XX e siècle.
Le Mas du Luberon est conçut comme un pavé rectangulaire, il dispose d'un étage accessible par un escalier central et d'un rez-de-jardin. Le couloir de distribution à l'étage court le long de la façade nord, les chambres étant installées au sud. Le Mas camarguais ressemble davantage à une hacienda disposant de grands volumes aux murs blancs et d'une cour intérieure. Sa forme est celle d'un U répartissant bâtiments d'habitations et écuries. L'impression qui se dégage d'un mas provençal est un mélange d'austérité allié à l'indispensable et au défensif...
