Lattuada ama cogliere scorci di paesaggi, luci riflesse ,atmosfere avvolgenti , trasparenze : questi gli elementi rilevatori di un tecnica pittorica appassionata ed emozionale .I suoi quadri nascono dall’osservazione della natura dove nascono le sue idee : è nella suggestione evocata dalla natura, dalle sue luci ed ombre, dai suoni e dai profumi che Lattuada immagina ciò che dipinge. Il mio pensiero, dice, abita in questi luoghi , ed è grazie all’incontro con le suggestioni del territorio che i colori, divengono strumento, per dare vita alle emozioni .
Predilige la tecnica ad olio, con fughe nel materico e nel puntinismo, tecnica con la quale da vita ad un realismo nei tratti molto personale quasi impressionista frutto di osservazioni tradotte in trasparenze , in fughe emozionali dove studio e ricerca nell’uso del colore danno vita a immagini vere, emotive.
Sono quadri nei quali la serenità della natura viene amplificata e trasmessa a chi guarda: talvolta il suo personale realismo mitigato dalle impressioni dei luoghi si tramuta in immagini oniriche , eteree, sognanti. Cio che contraddistingue tutte le sue opere è un senso diffuso di serenità, di silenzio : parole non dette traslate su tela , immagini che tanto sanno dire agli occhi di chi le osserva.
La forma di espressione artistica definisce bene la personalità dell’autore schivo, riflessivo e poco incline a mettere a nudo le proprie emozioni : emozioni e sentimenti che invece con naturalezza trovano ampio spazio, preziosa custodia nelle sue tele.
