Ingegnere aerospaziale, ora in pensione, pittore autodidatta, da sempre appassionato dell’arte, disegna e dipinge dall’età della scuola elementare.
Da sempre appassionato dei quadri di Van Gogh, ha studiato storia dell'arte al Liceo apprezzando sempre di più l'arte pittorica. Attratto dall'inizio dall'impressionismo, ha poi sperimentato e continua a sperimentare pitture delle correnti espressioniste e successivamente attratto dall’iperrealismo e dal minimalismo.
Ama la pittura di precisione, sia nella paesaggistica che nelle nature morte e nei ritratti. Ha utilizzato per anni la pittura ad olio e il disegno sia a china che a grafite, per passare negli anni recenti ai colori acrilici, pur mantenendo il piacere del disegno a matita, sia bianco e nero che a colori.
“Opere intrise di emozione e tranquillità, spazi aperti e che rappresentano vie di ossigenazione pura. Sono i frutti della sua vita artistica molto piena di sfide nella tela. Siano essi figure o animali o paesaggi o nature morte, il percorso personalistico cromatico è presente in ogni sua creazione. Mai contrasti eccessivi bensì un corollario di cromie pulite e luminose, che creano un particolare pathos di tinte rassicuranti senza dover stridere, quindi delicate. Sono opere che racchiudono storie, sentimenti ed immagini sempre presenti nell’artista e che appaiono agli occhi degli interlocutori senza il bisogno di essere dapprima presentate.”
