Marina Berra nasce a Milano a fine anni Sessanta.
Da sempre amante dell’arte, inizia a dipingere prima come autodidatta, ed in seguito seguita da maestri privati. Si cimenta all’inizio con una pittura di tipo figurativo.
Capisce però, ben presto, che questa modalità di espressione non è adatta a lei.
Non le permette, infatti, di far emergere la sua interiorità, di sentirsi libera.
Comincia quindi a sperimentare nuove modalità espressive a lei sempre più affini.
Le sue opere nascono da un processo introspettivo che la conduce ad esprimere stati d’animo ed emozioni personali.
I colori accesi e vivaci, presenti nelle sue tele, esprimono concretamente il suo amore per la vita e l’energia che sente pervadere tutto l’Universo.
Marina ha realizzato alcune mostre personali e ha partecipato a numerose collettive e ad alcuni concorsi, ottenendo molti riconoscimenti sia da parte della critica che del pubblico.
