Депрессия
María Merabyan nació en Tbilisi (Rep. de Georgia, antigua URSS), desde muy pequeña comenzó a mostrar un gran interés por el dibujo y la pintura, asistiendo desde los 3 años al Colegio de Artes Aplicadas, posteriormente siguió sus estudios de arte en diversas escuelas en la Unión Soviética, debido a su afán en descubrir diversas técnicas de arte, decide trasladarse a Aleppo (Siria) y a Bagdad (Irak) para aprender las antiguas técnicas de creación de tapices. Posteriormente fija su residencia entre Yerevan (Armenia) y Milano (Italia) simultáneamente, donde ensaya diversos tipos de bordados con piedras semipreciosas, abalorios y cuentas japonesas, dedicándose también en Armenia al desarrollo de imágenes corporativas y diseño gráfico, en el año 2008 decide fijar su residencia en Barcelona (España), donde desarrolla técnicas de pintura sobre textil y aerografía.
Sus obras pictóricas se encuentran principalmente en colecciones privadas en Italia, Rusia,Italia,Grecia,España, Georgia y Armenia. A creado tapices por encargo
