Marijana Rakicevic is a contemporary Serbian visual artist. Her paintings are multi-layered, intensely personal, and built on the fusion of the biblical and contemporary. The intricate and carefully crafted compositions feature characters who are both human and machine hybrids, with a focus on female figures.
Marijana Rakicevic was born in 1992, in Serbia, where she graduated from the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade, Department of Applied Painting. She is a member of the Association of Fine Artists of Serbia (ULUS).
