Maria Baskal is Multidisciplinary Artist, presently focused on Art & Science.
Maria was born in 1988 Since 2020 and currently resides in Rome, Italy. Maria graduated in financial management, but her true nature and her serious passion for ecology and paleontology led her to the world of art, where she seeks to express herself, her ideas and dialogue with the people around her.
Maria began her painting studies at a private art school for 4 years in St Petersburg. Under the guidance of esteemed teachers, she mastered the fundamentals of classical technique while immersing herself in the world of colour, form and composition.
Beyond the canvas, her commitment to her principles extends to an active involvement in conservation.
Maria's artwork has received well-deserved recognition: some have been selected for prestigious exhibitions both in her home country and in Rome. Some works are in private collections throughout Europe.
