Marie Saksik is a contemporary award-winning French sculptor. Her sculptures, at the beginning of classical style, have evolved little by little towards a more personal approach of the female body. Inspired by Asia and the East, Saksik sculptures with their generous forms, express with softness, femininity and sensuality. The harmony, the balance of the full and the united are the main thread of her achievements. Marie Saksik was born in 1952, in France. Her works are in private collections in France, United States, Croatia, Luxembourg, Germany, Hong Kong, Noumea.
