Marie-Paule Gerbault is a contemporary French artist whose work offers a profound analysis of modern life through her paintings and sculptures. She is deeply influenced by the turbulence of our society—its worldly and ideological conflicts—which she reflects in her art. Her journey into creation began when, one day, she opened her eyes to her first humanist work, "The Escape," which she stretched out on a canvas, marking the beginning of her artistic path.

In her pursuit of artistic freedom, Marie-Paule embraced the vibrant hues of fuchsia, symbolizing her desire to break free from societal constraints. This blossoming of creativity allowed her to explore and express her art without the limitations of conventional formats.

Her work evolves towards a spiritual blossoming, where she infuses her paintings with a sense of transformation. Through the shimmering colors she uses, she seeks to elevate souls, transporting viewers into a spectrum of light and color. As she observes the cacophony of societal influences, she turns the crowd into a volumetric consciousness, giving form and meaning to the chaos around her.

The beauty of her vibrant hues transcends the deepest earthly divisions, and the transparency of her glazes fosters a sense of clarity and freedom in her art. Far from being merely provocative, her works intelligently address the dizzying fantasies of contemporary life and the suffering inherent in human nature. She conquers the irrational, making it her own to personalize her artistic vision.
