Après des années de peinture, aquarelle, collages et autres compositions mixtes aux accents d’Orient, j’ai naturellement ressenti le besoin de la nouvelle étape d’un voyage d’exploration artistique.
M’éloignant du cadre académique, je laisse aujourd’hui s’épanouir ma créativité dans un contact intime avec la matière et les volumes.
Mes dernières créations fédèrent le masculin, au gré des bois flottés érigés en sculptures totémiques, et le féminin avec des œufs, sphères, coupes ou autres Vénus, symboles de fécondité.
J’aime allier le naturel brut comme en témoignent mes matériaux à la sobriété et l’élégance des courbes et des couleurs.
En abordant ainsi l’Originel et le Symbolique, je suggère que l’art, au-delà du plaisir et de l’esthétisme, est avant tout précieux en tant que langage universel et intemporel.
