My daughter answered "Sure" with eye roll.
I painted (although it's not really a hen, but bird anyway), she tough it was hilarious.
It is only one of my paintings that my teen age daughter has accepted to her wall.
Marianne gets her inspiration from nature, books and from people around her. She paints portraits of her children's imaginary friends, tries to depict how it feels to jump in puddles and moves the beautiful she sees in the world to canvas. Her main focus is on trying to bring the emotion from art work to spectator. And she loves to hide things and tricks into her paintings.
She is born and raised in Finland with loud, colourful and flamboyant Karelian family. She has taken together her ebullient heritage, paired it with Finnish grumpiness and distilled it to her own unique expression. With that she has had help from art education. She attended visual arts focused high school and studied arts and design in University of applied sciences. On top of that she has taken part in several art courses to widen her knowledge.
