My name is Maria Godinho, I am from Póvoa de Varzim, Portugal.

I worked for years in Accounting, but from a very young age I have been fascinated by everything related to art in all its essence.

Therefore, over the years, I have taken several courses in drawing and painting.

In 2021, I completed the Specialization course in Painting and Sculpture at Cascais School of Art & Design.

I paint figurative abstracts, often more for abstraction than for the representation of the image, I use the spatula to give more movement, light and loose brushstrokes with texture.

I use figuration in contemporary art, always committing myself to the idea for a good final result.

My love for art is to be in constant learning in its various forms of expression.
