Original Artwork refers to any work that is considered authentic and not a copy or imitation of the original works of an artist. For workshop paintings that bear evidence of master craftsmanship, this attribution must be further qualified. They reach a greater audience than originals and act as a tonic against commodification. Original Artwork could also refer to the first work, which is always preceding all others. It could also refer to a prototype or a model from which other works can be made. Each work bears great similarities to the original.

My artistic journey is deeply rooted in the intersection of structure, color, and emotion. Trained as both an architect and an artist, I have always been drawn to the spatial qualities of form and composition, as well as the expressive power of color. My education in Architecture, enriched by a master’s degree in Conservation and Restoration of Monuments and Sites, has shaped a visual language where geometry, memory, and atmosphere converge. Over the years, I have cultivated a practice that bridges technical precision with intuitive exploration, often using drawing and painting as tools to investigate balance, rhythm, and transformation. My work reflects a deep curiosity about space—both physical and emotional—and how it can be reimagined through artistic expression. Living, studying, and working in different European cities has further influenced my creative perspective, infusing it with a sensitivity to cultural diversity and the layered narratives of place. I continue to explore the tension between control and spontaneity, structure and fluidity, in an ongoing search for authenticity and connection. Teaching painting to both children and adults has also become an integral part of my practice, offering a space where sharing, learning, and creating unfold together. Through this, I remain engaged with the evolving dialogue between artist, viewer, and the world we inhabit.
