Artiste peintre née en 1962 à Toulon, Maria-Chiara COSTES a longtemps vécu et travaillé dans sa ville de coeur La Seyne sur mer dans le Var. C'est en 2015 qu'elle se découvre avoir cette passion pour la peinture. Au fil des années elle a développé un sens à son travail qui aujourd'hui la rend fière.
Elle travaille principalement avec l'acrylique et utilise des matières telles que le modeling-paste, les mixtes-medias, le collage...
Elle pratique également l'aquarelle une technique à la fois délicate et très surprenante tant par sa finesse que par ce qu'elle diffuse comme sensation.
La nature, une photo, un objet, une idée, une émotion tels sont ses inspirations. Elle laisse libre cours à son imagination.
