Hi there! I am a Dutch artist living in the French Alps. I love to sketch the structures and textures of rocks and mountains and often I add a twist of fantasy.

Sketching mountains started when I was studying Earthsciences, when I had to make fieldsketches of geological sections in the mountains where we did research. A more detailled viewpoint would lead to more usefull field sketches. Hereby I was thought to look differently to nature around me. The structures and patterns that I find now, lifted up my artwork!

For now I am still a hobbyist, but I would love to see where I can get with a bit larger portfolio and a little more practise.
