The series explores the human unconscious — fluid, ever-changing, and resistant to systematization, yet inevitably engaging in dialogue with reality. This process is especially acute during the period of maturation, when internal energy clashes with external structures attempting to organize it. Efforts to impose order on chaos, to create stable systems, are consistently met with forces that dissolve them, leading to a new cycle of transformation. This reflects the eternal cycle of unity and division, formation and destruction, where the search for identity, the pursuit of wholeness, and inevitable polarization become part of the journey toward self-awareness.

Spring is the childhood of the world. We come to know it even in the cradle, when, half-asleep, we feel the first warmth of the sun, hear the drip of melting snow outside the window, and catch the scent of damp earth. It arrives unfailingly, like the turning of day and night, and each time awakens something slumbering deep within the heart.
Crisp green stems, slender leaves almost translucent, pure air still holding traces of the passing cold, and the first, dazzlingly blue sky—this is spring, young, triumphant, untouched by weariness.

"Blooming Light" is my visual poem about the awakening of nature, the triumph of light, and the eternal youth of spring. In this series, I explore the phenomenon of blooming as a mystery of renewal, transformation, and infinite beauty.
Each painting captures a moment of spring in all its complexity: from delicate, meticulously detailed blossoming branches, which seem to carry the subtle scent of petals, to more abstract compositions where spring transforms into a vibration of color and light.
I build my color palette on the interplay of shades — from soft, pastel hues of the morning sky to rich, radiant tones of the midday sun. The dynamic brushstrokes, fluidity of lines, and organic forms help me convey the endless movement of life, where blooming becomes a symbol not only of spring but of the very idea of eternal renewal.
This series is a contemplation of the divine essence of nature. In each piece, I strive to express light as a living substance, connecting the human world with the infinite. Spring in these works is not just a season but a state of the soul, ready for awakening, inspiration, and a touch of eternity.

The wet clothes clinging to the skin, the warm heaviness of raindrops, the shimmer of ritual flames on the wet stone tiles.
On the canvases, scenes of puja come to life, where offerings to the gods—floating fruits and fresh lotuses—drift in the water. Everything around is soaked in moisture. It feels as if nature and the elements themselves are participants in rituals that never end. Here, the ritual is the very structure of life. The scents of wet earth, flowers, and incense intertwine in a single breath with the temples of Tirumala.
The portraits of Lakshmi in this series highlight the connection between everyday life and the divine. Her image appears alongside familiar ritual elements: in the reflections on the water, in the soft glow of candles, in the petals of lotuses. Lakshmi becomes a part of the overall atmosphere, blending into the scenes as naturally as rain blends into the landscape.
"Lotuses of Tirumala" is a memory frozen in paint. An attempt to convey the elusive—the soft light of candles dancing on the water's surface, and the deep calm that comes when rain becomes a part of prayer.

Biography
My name is Margarita. I am an artist and professional illustrator. I am Ukrainian and currently living in Portugal.
In my work, I explore perception and the logic of image construction, combining different disciplines and techniques.
I have a background in design. In the early 2000s, I was actively involved in video art, but over time, I felt the need to immerse myself more deeply in the world of illustration.
I founded and directed an art school for adults in Moscow, organizing master classes with leading contemporary illustrators from around the world.
I have studied animation, love literature, and practice meditation.
For me, creating images is an art of playing with techniques and styles, searching for unexpected solutions and new meanings. Modern technologies expand the boundaries of beauty, unlocking limitless possibilities for creativity at the intersection of traditional drawing and the latest advancements in visual art.
