"Hédéra" est un tableau réalisé à partir d'un motif original repoussé (sculpté) dans une feuille de cuir de vachette tanné végétal d'environ 30X30cm et 4mm d'épaisseur.

Le motif a été créé par mes soins à l'aide d'une application numérique puis reporté sur le cuir, sculpté, teint, peint et verni aux produits acryliques principalement dans un camaïeu de marrons (environ 8 heures de mise en teintes).

Une partie des feuillages sont repoussés, les autres sont découpés et peint sur du parchemin de chèvre et collés ça et là...

Le papillon blanc Parnassius (qui s'invite régulièrement dans mon travail depuis "le livre d"Hanna") est repoussé et semi-découpé dans la feuille pour un effet de relief accentué...

Le corset de type médiéval-Renaissance porté par le personnage comporte un véritable lacet de cuir noué.

Le cadre a une structure bombée en papier mâché recouvert de cuir patiné manuellement...A l'origine blanc et argenté, un mélange de 3 couches de produits l'a patiné en brun acajou profond sous la marbrure gris argent brillant pour un rendu unique. Ce travail de gainerie spécifique a necéssité plus de 4 heures de travail... Dimensions totales 42X42cm.

Hédéra est le nom latin du lierre, qui sonne comme un prénom, idéal pour cette femme-lierre un peu sombre et mystérieuse...
