Cette peinture de 20x20 cm est dessinée à l’encre de Chine avec réhauts de Posca et feutres noirs sur acrylique.
C’est un clin d’œil aux femmes des années 70 qu’on retrouvait sur les couvertures des magazines.
Cette évolution de mes Instagirls en noir et blanc reprend la méthodologie du principe de répétition. Le format solitaire fait oeuvre de transition en reprenant l’encre comme médium principal mais sur de la couleur jaune pour ajouter une information de plus à mon observation.
De surcroît, la possibilité de l’inscrire dans unformat triptyque correspond à une ligne du feed d’Instagram, basée sur le rythlme ternaire. Et en abandonnant l’encre et le papier, la couleur prend toute la place maîtrisée par un geste spontané qui va au fil des formats 30x30 se préciser en utilisant le feutre de peinture et la hachure pour structurer les variétés de tons.
Cet acte de peindre et dessiner relie le digital au niveau du vivant, pour finir par rencontrer une part de la Femme contemporaine.

Born in 1973, Marcos Vinuesa is an artist-craftsman who lives and works between Geneva and Paris. Since his youngest age, he has continued to develop a universe where we find representations of Humans and their environment through plastic experiments.
Trained from childhood in academic technique with the Italian artist Lila de Nobili, he travels with her to the Louvre and its works of art to discover the portrait. He naturally continues with studies of Applied Arts in Paris, notably at the Duperré school and discovers trompe-l'oeil at the Van der Kelen school in Brussels, from which he graduated in 1994.
Marcos Vinuesa collaborates with the De Ricou and Laurent Beuffe workshops on decorative painting projects where he excels in the human figure and stylish ornament. In Geneva, he is part of the creative collective MarcoPolo of which he is a founding member. There he explores materials and colors to bring new ideas to interior design.
At the same time, he continues his personal work with series of portraits and self-portraits as well as commissioned paintings. His research takes on a new dimension when he begins working with metal. First as an autodidact in his Parisian workshop, then through a specialized course at the ADAC in Paris where he is trained in the art of copperware. This new know-how allows him to create series of steel sculptures and replicas of medieval armor pieces by reinventing a lost profession: armor beater.
His work takes a turn thanks to Art Therapy, from which he graduated in 2013 from the Faculty of Medicine of Paris Descartes. Since then, he has worked as a scenographer for the Museum of Art and History of the Sainte-Anne Hospital (Paris 14).
Marcos Vinuesa participates in solo and group exhibitions in Paris, Spain and Switzerland. His work is present in numerous private collections around the world, including Paris, London, Miami, New York, Brussels, Madrid, Geneva and Milan.
