The Italian-Uruguayan international painter Marcelo BOttaro dedicates his life and carries out numerous artistic projects between Europe and Latin America; the most important are the series "Viaje, Conquista y Colonia" exhibited at the Victoriana Museum in Rome in 2003 and "Epoica, Mito y Estetica Nuestramericana", 12 large-format paintings exhibited at the National Art Gallery of Caracas from 2012 to 2013. After an exhibition of Latin American artists at UNESCO in Paris in 2019 and recognition at the Maison des Artistes in Paris, he settled in the Occitanie region where he discovered sites relating to prehistory, natural and millennia. He draws inspiration from and offers his series "Prehistory and Future" to the Rignault Museum and in his own gallery in St Cirq Lapopie from 2020 to 2022. In 2023, he presents the museum project of the Human Geography of Pangea series. For 2024, the Iberian Transcontinental project is underway. An exhibition on the Human Geography series is planned from August 5 to 15, 2024 and at the Eurythmie hall in Montauban from November 13, 2024 to June 30, 2025.
