MARCELLO AMODEO est né à Nuits Saint Georges en cote d’or en 1959, au sein d’une famille Italienne.
Sans héritage familial artistique particulier, il découvre la peinture au couteau en 1998 alors qu’il était en vacances dans le Périgord noir.
Dès lors, il ne cessera de peindre.
La richesse de la démarche oeuvr’istique de MARCELLO provient essentiellement de la cohabitation de différents styles. Chaque toile nous livre un univers unique et particulier.
Les couleurs, les effets de matières, le font sortir du monde et vous entraînent dans un tourbillon… Ses peintures sont le fruit de pulsions !
Evidence que sa vie est sur son chevalet ou sa tête et son corps enfin réunis par l’acte de créer.
Il est fait de mélanges.
Je ne cherche pas à montrer le monde tel qu’il est….mais à l’exprimer.
Cet aspect est exploité à travers les nombreux thèmes de mes tableaux je n’hésite pas à aller jusqu'à distorsion des traits…de leurs courbes.
Ma palette de couleurs éclate.
