L'oeuvre est inspirée du poème symphonique Vltava (The Moldau) de Bedrich Smetana. C'est est une ode à la rivière tchèque. Nous y ressentons son parcours à travers ce paysage slave.
Née par le trait d'artiste qui avait d'abord fermé les yeux en écoutant la musique inspirante, puis sculptée une fois les yeux ouverts. Les nuances de couleurs d'eau (bleu, violet, vert) se mêlent pour exprimer la vibration du mouvement et de l'émotion.

Marcela étudie les Arts plastiques et plus tard dans sa thèse à La Sorbonne elle se consacre à la féminité et au féminin dans l'art. Elle est influencée par la peinture expressive et le toucher des pigments et les empreintes. Son chemin croise également la gravure et pendant un temps Marcela réalisera les estampes gravées sur le zinc, le focus sur le visage, les yeux ou les textes codés écrits à l'envers. Ces dernières années elle se consacre à la peinture à l'encre. Marcela aime son opacité, son intensité, sa franchise. Dirigée par la musique choisie, elle dessine les premiers traits des mouvements les yeux fermés. Après avoir ouvert les yeux elle fait naître les silhouettes. Elle cherche à transmettre l'expression du mouvement, de l'énergie, des vibrations de la vie. Marcela est particulièrement sensible à la conservation de la liberté du geste et de l'instant.
