For workshop paintings that bear evidence of master craftsmanship, this attribution must be further qualified. MARC, a self-taught French visual artist, embarked on his creative journey in the summer of 2023. From a young age, he cultivated a diverse and passionate appreciation for sounds and music, ranging from the rebellious tones of Bérurier Noir to the harmonious melodies of the Beach Boys, and from the intense compositions of Dark Funeral to the avant-garde brilliance of Frank Zappa.

His love for contemporary art and performance has been a longstanding influence, drawing inspiration from renowned artists such as Georges Mathieu, Herbin, and Dewasne. MARC's artistic vision is also shaped by figures like Jean-Louis Costes, Joel Hubaut, and Marie-Claire Cordat. A cinephile with a keen eye for film, he finds inspiration in the works of cinematic luminaries such as David Lynch, Scorcese, and Lars Von Trier.

The hallmark of MARC's artistic expression is SCULPEINTURE, a unique creation that bears his distinctive touch. Each SCULPEINTURE is adorned with a wax seal on the back of the canvas, featuring a brushed aluminum plate displaying the title and year of production, along with the artist's signature. This meticulous attention to detail reflects MARC's commitment to ensuring that each piece carries a sense of authenticity and individuality.
