Inspired by comics, TV series, 70s films, and travel, he is interested in comics, a field not yet explored by the great Masters: the narration of a story through the creation of fictional characters.
Creator of STORYTELLING ART, Marc Ferrero blends abstraction and narrative expression: a combination of framed shots, color harmony, and image superimpositions, thus composing scenes from a graphic novel. Her work "Once upon a time there was the Comitive" depicts on canvas a romantic story with colorful characters who take us on their adventures between Monaco and New York. The glamorous heroine Lisa L'aventura, femme fatale and businesswoman, drags Duke and Cello along with her and leaves no one indifferent. She represents the woman of the 21st century and appears with or without her acolytes in all postures and outfits in small and large formats up to 10 x 4 m. She can be found in the artist's personal gallery in Eze Village (6 rue de la paix, next to the church) welcoming art lovers. For collectors only, by appointment, the painter has chosen to revive the tradition of great masters like Matisse, Chagall, and Picasso, who lived on the Riviera, by opening the doors of his studio and his home-gallery just 5 minutes from Monaco.
In parallel with his narrative project, Marc Ferrero is creating an innovation in portraiture with the Storytelling Art Portrait (commissioned after an interview), which goes beyond the graphic representation of people to tell their story in their own world. Accustomed to working in large formats, he also creates monumental frescoes.
