Marc Burghard is a multidisciplinary artist. Painter, musician, photographer, videographer, craftsman, muralist, letter painter, specialist in the teaching of color theory, holder of a national education accreditation number, he is also a speaker in school .

Addressing particularly the themes of landscape, pareidolia, abstraction, his often surrealist, psychedelic, even dadaist work is distinguished by a new and dreamlike lighting.

Marc Burghard lives in Barembach (France) and was born on January 4, 1959 in Schirmeck in Alsace (France). After a patent as a technician in cabinetmaking and interior decoration, he was admitted by competition to the School of Decorative Arts in Strasbourg, which he only attended for two and a half years. He started photography at the age of 13 and hasn't stopped since.

He will never have an employer. A great traveler, he still finances his total freedom by traveling through Asia, enjoying meeting local craftsmen and trading in their artistic production. And he takes all his time to paint and devote himself to his artistic activities without constraints. His work has been shown mainly in Alsace. He has sold many pieces of his production to collectors around the world at local events such as those organized by the Galerie de La Paix in Sélestat.

At present he devotes himself above all to the production of a hundred-hour animated film based on his photomontages and his music.
