Mi nombre es Manuel Santiago García Cabeza (Garman)y nací en la Ciudad de Caripe del Guacharo, estado Monagas, Venezuela el 14 de octubre de 1958.
Mi pasión por las artes plásticas comienza cuando tenía la edad de 12 años, cuando sentía la lluvia caer sobre el techo de mi casa, lo cual me hacía sentir un gran deseo por dibujar; pero la pintura comienza a partir del año 1973. En estos primeros pasos me adentro en el conocimiento de los colores y los materiales que para esa fecha existían en mi localidad, llámese pinceles, paletas, caballetes, etc... No tengo formación académica en artes plásticas, me considero autodidacta.
Me inclino por un estilo que mezcla lo figurativo abstracto, pasando por el impresionismo para formar un abstracto creativo, con colores vibrantes y sólidos con trazos firmes y decididos.
Durante todo este tiempo he participado de exposiciones, tanto individuales como colectivas, obteniendo en algunas premios y reconocimientos, así como notas de prensa.
