Initialement formée aux arts appliqués (stylisme de mode à l'ESAA Duperré à Paris), je me suis vite tournée vers les arts plastiques.
Curieuse et touche-à-tout, après avoir expérimenté la scénographie, la construction de décors et de marionnettes, le modelage et le volume en papier, la sérigraphie ou encore la gravure, j'enseigne les arts plastique et anime des ateliers tout en développant un travail personnel de peinture et de dessin au sens très large, faisant varier les supports et mélangeant différentes techniques.
Il y a quelques années, j'ai rejoint les Poussières, un collectif artistique d'éducation populaire basé à Aubervilliers près de Paris. J'ai pu ainsi participer à la création d’œuvres collectives et participatives, en volume (installations lumineuses en osier et papier) ou murales telles que des fresques dans l'espace public, ou encore de la vitrophanie.
Je tisse mes images peu à peu, vers un équilibre fragile. Les différents motifs, choisis pour leur valeur symbolique et pour leur intérêt graphique, existent par les rapports qui les relient entre eux. Ce sont ces rapports que je cherche à rendre tangibles :
- Les rencontres entre la nature et ce que nous, humain.e.s, nous concevons, fabriquons, bâtissons,
- les chemins de la construction à la destruction, d'un figuration pure à une certaine abstraction,
- les passages du volume au bi-dimensionnel, quand la perspective devient graphisme, que le fond intervient sur la forme, tandis qu'une image acquiert une troisième dimension grâce à son support ...
Un dialogue s'installe entre des concepts a priori opposés, pour raconter des histoires de mutations, d'interactions et d'interpénétrations. Chaque œuvre est une hypothèse qui peut se lire dans plusieurs sens, où tout s'entremêle sans se figer.
Et si l'histoire peut paraître figée tant les motifs sont englués entre eux, il suffirait d'un rien pour que tout se remette en mouvement, perturbant nos perceptions et nos certitudes.
