ARTIST’S STATEMENT

As a conceptual artist and sculptor, I work in the Waste Art direction. In my sculptures, installations, art objects and paintings, I consider the theme of technical progress and ecology.

My attention as an artist is drawn to the problem of the society in which we live. I call it the Society of Paradoxes. Self-knowledge and self-expression of a modern person occurs through social networks, the Internet, online connections. All my emotions - be it joy or indignation, I splash out in my works, trying to reach out to the viewer.

My task is to help people wake up from sleep with the help of art and be honest with themselves. The most precious thing in our life is time. What do we spend it on? How do we distribute the most expensive resource? Viewing statuses, publications, stories? Was this what we were born for?

I believe that the main thief of our resource is the Internet and social networks. They regulate the human algorithm, introducing him into a false comfort zone, dulling his mind, feelings and perception. At the same time, they distract us from the reality that we face every day: global cataclysms, the consequences of technological progress, a pandemic ...

I urge the viewer through my works to be alone with themselves, to hear the inner silence, and against its background - their own voice. A voice not imposed by the ideas of society, advertising, lifestyle.

My works, made in the unique technique of Recycling Art using broken car glass, spare parts, waste materials of technical progress, symbolize internal protest, the desire to wake up and be conscious.

My work is for people who are looking for signs and strive for internal improvement.
