"Host of the Forest" 森の番人

Revered guardian of forest secrets and protector of its inhabitants. It will not harm if you do not hurt the forest. It is strange that the owner of a huge powerful jaws and muscular clawed paws never been caught attacking its prey. The sight of its own reflection causes the beast's anxiety, it is unlikely it can understand who truly is, because no one met others like it in recent decades. There were found various man-made things by the bravest in its lair, probably lost by guests who visited the forest depths. It is unknown whether it is collecting for amusement or trying to clear his domain of foreign cluttering. The creature avoids human contact, fully realizing that it is a desirable hunter trophy. It responds to calm statements in its direction with a wondrous inhuman speech, and at the threat it is able to emit a deafening roar. Residents of nearby villages consider that desirable murder of creature is an indelible sin, which can lead to the forest decay.
