From ancient Sanskrit, "chakra" is translated as "wheel". 7 main chakras are responsible for our life. They are located along the spinal column. Each of the chakras has its own functions. Some are responsible for physical health. Others are for mental development. The third is for the state of mind of a person.
All 7 chakras are located in the ethereal subtle body. From the center of each chakra leaves a kind of stem that connects it to the spine.
Chakras and calmness are two different things. You will never see a chakra frozen in place. Like our organs, the chakra "lives" its own life. It constantly rotates and vibrates. This helps her to attract universal energy and transfer it through the channels to the human body.
In the spiritual practices of Hinduism, it is a psycho-energetic center in the subtle human body, which is the intersection of the nadi channels through which prana (life energy) flows, as well as an object for concentration in the practices of tantra and yoga.
The concept of chakra is used in Hinduism, Buddhism, many modern occult systems, as well as in Ayurveda and some other types of alternative medicine.
The earliest references to chakras in the context of spiritual practices can be found already in the later ancient Indian treatises Upanishads, in the Atlas of Tibetan Medicine, in Chinese treatises on neidan (internal elixir), in Japanese martial systems (hara, ten-sho). The main role in the formation of the concept of chakras and the closely related concept of kundalini was played by the tantric and yogic directions of Hinduism.
1 chakra - Muladhara
2 chakra - Svadhisthana
3 chakra - Manipura
4 chakra - Anahata
5 chakra - Vishuddha
6th chakra - Ajna (third eye)
7 chakra - Sahasrara

Our life consists of many moments - joyful and sad, happy and tragic. From these moments the picture of our life is formed. Whether it will be positive and bright or negative and gloomy depends on the individual's perception of his own experiences. I paint every moment of my life on canvas with a dot. Thus, I cognize my true Self in the projection of the Universe.

My name is Ksenia, I'm from Ukraine. I am an artist and designer, graduated from art school and the Institute of Design. I own the classic technique of watercolor painting, black and white graphics ink and pen. My paintings were exhibited at the state exhibitions of Ukraine, there were also personal exhibitions. After graduation in 2006, I became fascinated with spiritual practices. And it completely changed my life. I moved to live in another country in Georgia. After a trip to India, I opened a mandala channel. In 2015, I began to draw mandalas in the Dot Painting technique. All the mandalas I paint in meditation. I never know what the mandala will look like at the end. Each mandala is unique. No mandala can be re-drawn, just as you can not return the last moment.
