It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Maître de Casson, ist unter dem Namen Edmond Safra II. am 18. April 1960 in Genf geboren. Sein Vater verstarb vor seiner Geburt und die Mutter in seiner frühesten Kindheit.
Aufgrund von Recherchen im Zusammenhang mit dem Tot seines Vaters ließ er sich 1980 in Leipzig nieder und begann genau dort in der HGB Kunst zu studieren, wo er u. a. Neo Rauch und Judy Lybke kennenlernte.
Da ihn mit Neo Rauch nicht nur das Interesse für Kunst sondern obendrauf auch noch das Alter und das Geburtsdatum verband, wurden die beiden sehr schnell enge Freunde. Nicht zuletzt von dem damals noch Edmund Safra, der sich 1980 in Maitre de Casson umbenannte
inspiriert, legten sich auch Neo Rauch und Judy Lybke ein Pseudonym zu und traten fortan unter diesen Namen in der Öffentlichkeit auf.
Nach der Studienzeit in Leipzig, die bis 1985 andauerte, verließ Maitre de Casson die DDR in Richtung China, forderte und beobachtete aber weiterhin die Kariere seiner Freunde und half ihnen insbesondere in New York bekannt zu werden.
Er selbst widmete sich immer mehr der chinesischen Malerei, die auf der chinesischen Kalligrafie aufbaut.
Seine Gemälde werden insbesondere in Ländern die eine starke Verbindung zur
Schriftkunst haben sehr hoch gehandelt. Dazu zählen China, Japan aber auch Saudi Arabien.
Zu den Kunstsammlern die seine Arbeiten sammeln und ihn als den bedeutendsten zeitgenössischen Künstler ansehen zählt u. a. Jack Ma, der Gründer der chinesischen Handelsplattform Alibaba und der Alibaba Group.
Maitre de Casson lebt in China und verlässt nur selten das Land.
Im Oktober 2019 wurden in der HGB Leipzig Gemälde und ein Zettel von 1980 gefunden, wonach Maître de Casson der Graffitikünstler Banksy sein soll. Danach leitet sich der Name Banksy von dem Spitznamen von Maître de Casson der nach seiner Bankiersherkunft und der spanischen Mutter (bzw. spanischen Muttersprachlichkeit und Akzent) "Bank" (wie Bank) + "Si" (wie spanisch "ja") also Bank-Si lautete.
