It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Maiker Ávila López is a Dominican visual artist and a graduate of Chavón | The School of Design in La Romana, which is affiliated with Parsons New School for Design in New York. His work is marked by a meticulous choice of colors and mastery in techniques such as acrylic, oil, and watercolor.
Influenced by both realism and surrealism, Maiker's art is known for its attention to detail and idealized portrayals of his subjects. Key influences in his work include Edward Hopper, for capturing urban solitude; Norman Rockwell, for visual storytelling; and Andrew Wyeth, for emotive atmospheres. René Magritte’s challenge to reality, along with the influence of Lucian Freud, John Singer Sargent, and Joan Miró’s exploration of the subconscious, further enrich Maiker’s artistic depth.
His art embodies innovation, passion, authenticity, and excellence, transcending the boundaries of visual expression. He has showcased his work in several notable exhibitions. In 2021, he participated in the prestigious XXIX National Biennial of Visual Arts at the Museum of Modern Art in Santo Domingo. In 2018, he was part of the 1st National Painting Competition Pinta el Cacao Dominicano organized by the CONACADO Group. His work was also featured in a collective exhibition in 2017 at the Altos de Chavón Gallery, Casa de Campo, Resorts & Villas. In 2016, Maiker participated in the National Young Painting Competition with Recrear a Théodore Chassériau.
