Maya Nochevnaya was born in the early 80s in the permafrost city of Norilsk, in a family of engineers. In the early 90s, the family moved to Karelia, and at the age of 10, Maya was already raising kundalini in the company of seasoned yogis on the deposits of raspberry quartzite. The beauty and power of Karelian nature with a powerful flow nurtured and filled the young consciousness.
And then there was the choice of profession and it was not easy, and Maya followed in the footsteps of her parents. She graduated from technical school with a degree in Architecture, then the University of Mining Faculty. In 2006, she emigrated to Finland, where professional gardening art greatly fascinated Maya.
And so in emigration, her creative path began. Experimenting with artistic materials and trends, she found her own recognizable style. And now all sorts of shades of green, a variety of plants, wind, sun, everything that grows and sways and a warm mood are reflected in her works.
