For many years Maggie had the yearning to connect with her family from the desert, this yearning bought her to Alice Springs, the journey was so long and was finally achieved when she met her Central Australian Briscoe Family, that she had tirelessly searched to find. That coming together rekindled family connections here in Alice Springs. Art has connected Maggie with her ancestral family, stories and homeland.
Maggie grew up in Adelaide, now currently living in Alice Springs, throughout her childhood and to this current day, Maggies has continued to hold her passion and love for painting. Her love of colour burns brightly. Maggie gets her inspiration from all she sees around her. Each piece of artwork captures the viewer’s imagination as Maggie walks them through each story and every stroke of her paint brush. Each piece is vibrant scenery of stories within story, a feast of colour and beauty.
