Magali Gauthier is a painter living in the east of France.
After 8 years of scientific studies, she turns completely to the arts in 2008.
Her favorite techniques are oil or acrylic painting, watercolor and drawing.
Mainly figurative, her work oscillates between the realism, the impressionism and the surrealism. She proceed as well through landscapes, daily scenes, portraits.
Her work speaks about human beings, interactions between the Man kind and the Nature. It tends to suggest the sharing of Earth, toward the future of humanity in search of harmony.
Since 2009 year in the course of which she worked on her vision of the French Riviera, she developed several themes in parallel.
In 2014, she particularly developed the theme "face à face" (between interview & confrontation) which sinks into the look of animals.
