A self-taught painter, dry pastels were an obvious choice for her.
It is a tactile technique that makes it possible to paint while drawing and which corresponds to her sensitivity. Through mixtures of tones, gradients, and blending effects, this powdery material allows her to express her sensations. Each year, she exhibits at international pastel fairs and in various art fairs where her work has won several awards.
In June 2019, she received the Silver Medal Diploma from the Academy of Arts-Sciences-Lettres in Paris.
She has been the subject of publications in the specialized magazine “Pratique des Arts” and in particular of an article entitled “The secrets of an award-winning painting” in a pastel special.
She is passionate about Humanity and Nature, guided by the effects of light according to her emotional palette.
She is particularly inspired by ethnic portraits, especially of elderly people.
Touched by the expression of a face, a look, an attitude, she reveals and highlights authenticity and human truth by inviting the gaze to discover the sensitive intimacy of an experience.
She works from photographs, most of which are from encounters during her travels.
"Bringing Life to the Subject" is at the heart of her artistic research.
