Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. El contraste entre el fondo negro y los tonos vibrantes del rostro y el cabello sugiere una dicotomía constante entre luz y oscuridad, entre el deseo de emerger y la inevitable atracción hacia los espacios más oscuros de la psique. El azul que se desliza sobre el rostro parece evocar un velo de lágrimas o una barrera emocional que separa al individuo del mundo exterior, intensificando su aislamiento.
Esta pieza es, en esencia, un autorretrato emocional, no necesariamente de mi rostro, sino de una experiencia que todos podemos reconocer. Se inspira en mi biografía, en esas ocasiones en que las emociones más densas parecen definir nuestra existencia. Pero no todo es desesperanza; en el uso del óleo y las texturas dinámicas, hay también una búsqueda de belleza, incluso en el dolor. Cada trazo es un intento de reconciliar lo vulnerable con lo sublime, un recordatorio de que nuestras heridas también son parte de nuestra humanidad.
A través de esta obra, mi intención es que el espectador no solo vea, sino que sienta, que se permita habitar el espacio entre la tristeza y la esperanza. Porque, aunque a veces nuestras emociones parezcan desbordarnos, también son un puente hacia la reflexión y la conexión. Esta pintura no pretende dar respuestas, sino abrir un diálogo íntimo con quien la observe.

Mi formación artística se ha desarrollado a través de un recorrido personal y académico que me ha permitido explorar diversas disciplinas y técnicas creativas. Desde una temprana fascinación por el dibujo y la pintura, profundicé mis estudios en talleres independientes, donde adquirí una base sólida en composición, color y técnica. Posteriormente, me enfoqué en comprender las corrientes artísticas contemporáneas a través de estudios formales, lo que amplió mi perspectiva conceptual. Además, he complementado mi aprendizaje con cursos especializados en escultura y arte digital, que me han permitido integrar enfoques tradicionales y modernos en mi práctica artística. Este trayecto me ha llevado a desarrollar una voz visual única, centrada en la interacción entre la expresión emocional y las narrativas simbólicas.
Mi práctica artística se desarrolla en el ámbito del expresionismo figurativo, utilizando el óleo sobre lienzo y el lápiz y carboncillo sobre papel como medios para explorar las profundidades de la experiencia humana. A través de mis obras, abordo temas como la melancolía, la tristeza, la depresión, la angustia y la soledad, emociones que nos transforman y revelan nuestra esencia más vulnerable.
Inspirado por mi biografía, cada pieza refleja un diálogo íntimo entre mi mundo interior y las emociones universales que compartimos como seres humanos. Busco transformar la angustia y el dolor en imágenes cargadas de belleza y sutileza, ofreciendo una perspectiva que invita a la reflexión y a la conexión con lo que nos hace humanos.
Mi arte no solo es una forma de expresar mis propias experiencias, sino también un vehículo para que otros encuentren eco en sus propias vivencias, enfrentándose a las sombras con sensibilidad y comprensión.
