The areas of artistic expression range in various fields, including the restoration of furniture and works of art. At the age of fifteen he made his debut in the world of art, winning a prestigious national prize in Venice. Since then, for years he has had relationships with well-known galleries in the capital. Examining the pictorial part, the techniques used are bistre, oil, tempera and acrylic. He engages admirably in the reproductions of author's works and in the study of portraits. The themes most frequently addressed by the artist are developments of oneiric or religious themes. The artistic expression relating to faith is decidedly original: affirmation of a living creed, present in daily life with doubts, pains and human passions. The chromatic scale is lit, almost a cry of protest towards a world based on external values, far from the existential problems that dominate the human being. In the artist's life it is suggestive to note how the practice of art and the spiritual life go hand in hand, to the point that the artist comes to define himself: 'a Christian painter and not a Christian painter'.
Luca Martinoli's great research strength lies in the fact that painting has found in him a language suited to creative expression itself.
The artist has always balanced the cadence of chiaroscuro, light and shadow to make subjects appear naturally alive. The basis of his artistic expression is undoubtedly sensitivity, without which every work of art cannot communicate anything to others.
Excellent connoisseur of design and the use of colors which predominate in his works evident way.
Its reality is research, each theme has a particular choreography, not in the worst theatrical sense, but in the much more acceptable one of making the user feel in the place described, be it reality or the fruit of a dream.
