Luigi is an Italian portrait, figurative and abstract painter; and his style is influenced by classical artists from renaissance and baroque époques. He is always exploring new ideas and compositions, looking for something novel and special. Luigi aims to visualise and capture beauty of human body and nature, trying to keep the sense of action and realism. He works mostly oil on canvas, exploring the various aspects of painting such as composition, light, shading and colour. Luigi also works on a variety of tones, hues and contrast, experimenting and modifying these elements until he finds a harmonious relationship, and a pleasing pattern between light and dark, giving life and power to the image.
