Lola Marinn is a contemporary Russian artist hailing from a small town in the Ural Mountains, located 250 kilometers from Yekaterinburg. She graduated with a Master’s degree from the Moscow City Pedagogical University, Faculty of Fine Arts. During her time at the university, Marinn was introduced to the monotype technique, which has since become a fundamental aspect of her artistic practice.
Marinn's work primarily explores themes of sexuality and female identity. Through her provocative depictions of the human body, she seeks to challenge social norms and conventions. Her art offers a candid and introspective narrative that celebrates the complex and multifaceted nature of women, inviting viewers to engage with her perspective on femininity and identity.
