Je réfléchis à la fascination que provoque l’arme à feu dans l’inconscient collectif. Quel que soit son âge ou son sexe, chacun le perçoit comme un objet de puissance. Mais une puissance abstraite, sans contextualisation ou conséquences. Alors que derrière la silhouette d’un Uzi, d’un Glock ou d’une Kalachnikov, combien de vies perdues, de territoires [...]
Je réfléchis à la fascination que provoque l’arme à feu dans l’inconscient collectif. Quel que soit son âge ou son sexe, chacun le perçoit comme un objet de puissance. Mais une puissance abstraite, sans contextualisation ou conséquences.
Alors que derrière la silhouette d’un Uzi, d’un Glock ou d’une Kalachnikov, combien de vies perdues, de territoires anéantis ?
Je développe actuellement cette série de collages d’images vues à travers des découpes d’armes à taille réelle, qui montre ce qu’elles impactent, des humains, des animaux et des paysages.
Photocopies collées derrière un passe-partout découpé en forme d’arme.

Ln Le Cheviller is a multidisciplinary artist, painter, engraver, photographer, collagist and practitioner of digital art.
Its mode of representation, abstract or figurative according to the themes, uses various languages and techniques to imbue them with contemporary codes and issues. He takes a poetic and political look at the world around him and is inspired by contemporary news (ecology, migrations, war) through images gleaned from the media and transformed. He also works on the text-image relationship by drawing inspiration from or integrating texts into some of his images.
Ln Le Cheviller trained at the Ecole Estienne and the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, and settled in Charente in Sers (France) about twenty years ago. She has participated in many exhibitions throughout France.
