Lisa Ray is a Russian surrealist artist. She was born in the city of Alma-Ata in Kazakhstan.
She graduated from the art school in Alma-Ata and the Alma-Ata State University, faculty of FIPI.
After completing her studies at the art school, she worked as a painting teacher at the House of Creativity and Studio under the Union of Architects. She worked for 2 years at the "X-gallery" under the artistic direction of G. Serdyukov. During the same period, she actively exhibited in the same gallery and participated in exhibitions of the Union of Artists of Kazakhstan.
Then she moved away from the fine arts for many years: she led several dance groups, worked as a ballet dancer, and was the host of show programs.
She returned to the brush in 2008.
Since 2020, she lives and works in Russia, in the city of St. Petersburg.
