Lise ARCANGELI est une artiste mosaïste plasticienne passionnée par le mélange des genres et des matières.
Ses peintures de pierre lovées dans la fenêtre d’un carreau découpé, racontent des histoires abstraites ou figuratives.
Son travail s’articule d’une part, autour des personnages de l’enfance, de l’animal et des arbres avec une naïveté assumée et poétique qui rappelle les mondes de Sémpé ou de St Eupery.
Mais d’autre part, elle se joue aussi du chemin intuitif entre le rêve et l’abstrait, une frontière ténue et mouvementée, guidée par les caprices du marbre, de l’ardoise ou du grès.
Depuis le début et comme un reflet du miroir, c’est l’expression des contraires et des contraintes qui stimule son imaginaire et ce besoin d’expérience nouvelle. Ce qui s’oppose et se rassemble dans la différence: le brillant et le mat, les espaces lisses et la mosaïque, l’immobile et le mouvement, l’ombre et la lumière...et parfois l’interprétation d’une peinture comme une parenthèse, la rencontre d’un ami.
