We lived for 2 years in Tuscany then in Haute Provence, Bretagne, Herault, Centre/France, Aveyron and now in the departement of Creuse ." Working together with my wife Marie-Pierre , I am a sculptor with 4 eyes" Working mainly with wood we are interested in the human figure, concentrate on heads and bust in simple shapes and minimal expression. This hand carved sculpture is made of painted locusttreewood fixed on a steel base.
Just about wooden sculptures : do not put them on a place where the sun can shine directly on them, nor place them near a heating point . This could create cracks ! If it happens, keep them in a cool place for a while, humidity in the air will close them back. Wood is an alive material !
