Lilya Galstyan

Lilya is an Armenian painter with a deep connection to nature, people, and the pursuit of social justice. Her journey with art began in her hometown, where she attended the local art school. These early experiences laid the foundation for her passion and growth as an artist. Now, as a fourth-year student at the Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts, she continues to explore various mediums and styles, working to discover her own unique artistic vision.

Particularly drawn to painting people, Lilya believes that art has the power to foster understanding and reflect the human experience. Her work often expresses themes of empathy and connection.

In her third year, Lilya had the opportunity to study abroad at Eszterházy Károly Catholic University in Hungary. This experience provided her with fresh perspectives and encouraged her to experiment with different techniques and styles, which have become integral to her artistic development.

For Lilya, art is a way to express her love for nature, humanity, and the world around us. Through her paintings, she hopes to inspire others to see the beauty and depth in everyday life and to connect more deeply with themselves and others.
