Pur avendo avuto sempre un profondo amore per il disegno, prim'ancora che per la pittura, non ho mai seguito corsi specializzati, tanto meno in gioventù mi sono iscritto al liceo artistico; probabilmente per pigrizia o per scarsa propensione allo studio. Sta di fatto che, spinto da uno schizzo a matita fatto da una mia collega di lavoro, decisi di provare a riprendere in mano la matita. Era la fine del duemilatre, da allora la mia passione si è rinfocolata con esisti soddisfacenti, ma anche con la giusta dose di insoddisfazione che mi spinge a cercare di migliorare la mia tecnica.
